Endure ultra-running weekend
16th/17th July 2016, Beale Park near Reading
Free camping for competitors, friends, family & support crews
You choose between 50K, 50 miles, 12 hours as a solo runner or 12 hours running as a relay team. Starting at 7.00pm on Saturday night offering around 6 hours of daylight running and 6 hours of night running over a 5 mile loop of trail, towpath, park paths and passing through the wildlife park with a chance of seeing the mere cats.
The 50 kilometer and 50 mile races start at the same time at the 12-hour race at 7.00pm on Saturday evening and finish when you complete the distance. You can take as long as you like and rest if you wish. It’s an ideal opportunity to try the distance for the first time or to prepare for another ultra running challenge later in the year.
The 12-hour race is an opportunity for solo runners to see how far they can run in 12 hours. There is support on hand throughout the race and you can stop, rest and eat when you like. Teams of 2 – 6 runners can enter this race and run it in relay. Camping is right next to the route so you can offer support to your team members.
